The scent is very fruity. The container is high quality. Great gift.Being yankee I thought it's worth the bit extra for a good scent, but truth I found it very expensive for the little scent it gives out. I'd rather stick to something cheaper at least you expect it not to be strong.Super disappointed with this candle and I’m not convinced it is a genuine Yankee.When it arrived it arrived in bubble wrap opposed to pervious Yankee purchases which have arrived in a yankee box and cardboard inner sleeve/Case.The candle tunnelled on the initial burn(3hours). Which is most definitely not my experience with past Yankee candles I’ve purchased.The smell is lovely when not alight but not even close to the strength I’d usually expect from Yankee candles once lit. Which is super disappointing ?.In fact the cheap £5 B&M candle has a stronger smell.Really disappointed as this gives off absolutely no smell, it sounded like it was going to smell lovely but there’s 0 scent from this candle. Would not recommendThe only smell I can get from this candle is paraffin!!!...that's what made me question if it was really from yankee or a really good looking fake, I've had it lit for 8 hours and can not smell anything in the room but paraffin! If it is a genuine yankee candle then it's very, very disappointing and not what you expected from the brand...all my other yankee products always smell so lovely and strong. Ultimately very disappointed and dissatisfied, waste on money. The only redeeming quality is it will burn for a long time.Always buy Yankee, this one keep going out every hour or so, tried everything so was a complete waste of money. It also didn’t come in standard Yankee packaging, was bit messy so unsure if this was the real deal.
